What vaccinations does my dog need for boarding?

All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations against Leptospirosis, Distemper, Parvovirus, Canine Hepatitis and Kennel Cough (Bordetella) before attending the kennels.

Annual boosters (excluding kennel cough) may be given up to and including the day of arrival, provided your dog’s vaccinations have remained continuously up to date and there has been no lapse in cover. If your dog is receiving their first vaccination course or restarting vaccinations following a lapse, the full course must be completed at least two weeks before arrival.

The Kennel Cough vaccination must also be given at least two weeks before arrival to allow the vaccine to take effect and for any mild symptoms following vaccination to settle.

Please upload a clear copy of your dog’s veterinary vaccination record to the customer portal before arrival. All vaccination records must be reviewed and approved by our team before your dog attends.

Vaccines must be licensed for use in the UK. Homeopathic vaccinations are not accepted. We may accept a valid veterinary titre test certificate in place of a booster vaccination, subject to review and approval.

We check all vaccination records to help protect the health and wellbeing of every dog in our care.

What should I bring for my dog?

Three things: their own food for the whole stay, any medication they require, and their vaccination records if these have not already been uploaded and approved through the customer portal. Keeping your dog on their usual food is important, as a sudden change in diet can cause digestive upset. Please provide enough food to cover their entire stay and clearly label any specific feeding instructions. We will follow your dog’s usual feeding routine, including whether they are fed once or twice daily, to help maintain consistency while they are in our care.

We can administer medication (excluding injections) where it is safe and appropriate for our team to do so. Please ensure that all medication is clearly labelled and that full instructions are provided, including the correct dosage and frequency. We ask that you make us aware of any medication requirements before your dog’s stay so we can confirm that it can be safely administered.

If your dog’s vaccination records have already been uploaded to the customer portal and approved by our team, there is no need to bring a physical copy with you. If they have not yet been approved, they must be uploaded and reviewed before your dog arrives.

Please do not bring your dog’s own bedding or blankets, as we provide suitable bedding for all dogs during their stay. You are welcome to bring up to two suitable toys per dog to help them feel comfortable and settled.

Prices & Practicalities

Costs, times and the practical bits.

How much does dog boarding cost?

Boarding starts at £30 per night for one dog in their own individually heated kennel. Two dogs from the same home sharing a kennel is £40 per night — £20 per dog — and three sharing is £55. Unlike some kennels around Nottinghamshire, that nightly price is genuinely all-in: heating, two daily exercise sessions in our secure fields, feeding to your dog's own routine, medication given on schedule, and insurance cover throughout the stay are all included, with no surcharges for any of it. The only extra you'll ever see is the 50% booking deposit.
